Agrimos - How it works

How it works  |   Research  |   Profitability  |

Pathogens attach themselves to the cell wall of a host animal's hind gut where they have a negative impact on the animal's health and performance. As a combination of manno-oligosaccharides (MOS) and glucose (B-glucans), Agrimos helps block pathogen colonization within the digestive tract (bacteria bind to the MOS as a false potential food source and are "flushed" out of the system) while supporting the non-specific immune system of the animal.

Agrimos is stable in all types of animal feed, and can be stored for at least 24 months after the manufacturing date in a cool dry place.

At Lallemand, MOS is selected for its known agluteniation to pathogenic E-Coli. This ensures a high quality MOS.
