Lallemand Animal Nutrition uses a one-of-a-kind technology that retains S.c. boulardii viability after pelleting. An industrial micro-encapsulator system called GLATT successfully contains live S.c. boulardii cells in a protective coating - known as the Levucell SB10Me "Titan" coating - that maintains vitality in high-temperature pelleting processes. Most non-coated yeasts cannot survive the high-temperature process, making Levucell SB the best choice for farmers who prefer a pelleted feed.
